S.W.A.K. Down Papertrey Style

So this was hard let me tell you, working with small cards is not always easy.  I wanted to keep it as a card so you could all see that it fits in the adorable small heart tins from Papertrey Ink.  You can find them here.  I ended up doing two with the same idea behind each one but using a little different product on each.

Img_30431 The first one uses some turquoise ribbon from Target $1 spot and Regal Rose grosgrain to create some stripes with a piece of Whisper White stamped with images from PTI Borders and Corners - Heart in Regal Rose and Cool Caribbean.  Cutting out the ribbons in the grooves and curves was the hardest part.  It made me with I had some Ribbon Stiff from Strano Designs, I have always wanted some but could never justify the expenditure!!

Img_3044 The second card is basically the same idea, except it uses Making Memories fabric tape to create the stripes.  I added the love sentiment in Certainly Celery from PTI Textboxed and little heart punch covered in Stickles at the bottom.  The small hearts behind the love sentiment are from PTI Borders and Corners - Hearts stamped on PTI Stampers Select white cardstock.  The piece is matted on Bashful Blue. I definitely like this one better!

Thank you so much Lisa for hosting this challenge, it was fun to try to create outside the box.  Or inside the box I guess:)!  I make so many "normal" shaped cards that I really enjoyed this!  If you made a card or other creation, send me a link in the comments so I can see it.

Thanks for stopping by today!
