So excited to share some of my projects from this months Papertrey release! There are some fabulous sets coming out and I truly enjoyed working with each one. I will create many many more projects with them. And I have a few projects with the new Guide Lines paper to share soon as well, that stuff makes the use of that set increase exponentially for me!
First up is Dawn's new set, Scattered Showers, such a fun little umbrella set that you can make super fancy or just really plain and pretty, I have done a little of both when playing with it lately. The first thing I thought of when I saw those cutie umbrellas was to use one as a beach umbrella, a big pretty red one to relax under in the sun - oh how I love relaxing and playing at the beach! I used a color combo that just pops for me - Pure Poppy, Aqua Mist, Dark Chocolate and of course Fresh Snow. That little bit of sand paper I scalloped to resemble waves is from Heidi Swapp but I bet you could use some from the hardware store if you wanted. The button is from the new Dark Chocolate Vintage Collection, one of this months new colors, super great variety in my bag I really love them!
And a closer look at the beachy scene!

Up next is Background Basics: Spots and Dots by Lisa Johnson, a great background building set. I have loved everything she has done with it this week. I paired it with some Hibiscus Burst and New Leaf and those lovely Marvy flower punches that I just got, they are delicious I tell you. I love the little scalloped edge I added to the side of the card, just softens it and gives it an extra little something!
Here is a closer look at the sentiment from Mega Mixed Messages, the buttons (New Leaf, White and Hibiscus Burst Vintage Button Collections) and the Hibiscus Burst Bitty Dots Ribbon which is just wrapped around the panel.

Lastly, Tea for Two, the newest set by Nichole, a wonderful, warm, inviting set of images that you are sure to reach for again and again. I am hoping she releases another set with additional teapot images cause these are so pretty and I can think of lots of others that would be beautiful! Anyhow, for my project I decided to make a Perfect Match box, which is one of Lauren's My Timeless Templates, it fits tea perfectly. I wanted to make it a little shabby chic with lots of pretty soft feminine colors so I chose Spring Moss, Aqua Mist, Sweet Blush, and Vintage Cream. I absolutely love the way they look together and as an added bonus I got to use some new buttons - in Sweet Blush and Aqua Mist. Here is the entire ensemble first.
I made my own pattern with the Beautiful Blooms branch and the little flowers from With Sympathy. I really like how it turned out, but I do love that branch image, it is maybe my favorite PTI stamp ever! Here is a closer look at the card.
And here is a closer look at the box with the cute little label, I layered a circle and oval behind it, they were both cut with Nestabilities.
