Happy Friday!!! I typically have Friday's off and get to get caught up on things around the house while chasing after the kids. It is always one of my favorite days of the week. The big happenings for us this week are that Mikey finally decided to walk - at least most of the time. It is so cute to see him toddling around, I love it. Sometimes he falls every few steps but he gets back up (mostly) and keeps going! Such a cutie that kiddo, he just melts my heart. Here he is doing his "cheeeese" face - this picture is the first time I saw him do it and I just happened to be snapping pictures of him.
Now, don't worry, I also have a card to share, one I made with Lisa's set On my Couch and On my Couch Additions - did I mention I love it:)?!! It was a fun card to make with lots of sewing, a little quilt of sorts. The squares are 1 3/8" and just pasted down on my card front then I sewed all around the seams. Then I added the circle with my cute Lemon Tart couch, Aqua Mist rug and Pure Poppy Sentiment (oh and Dark Chocolate couch feet). I added Pure Poppy Stitched Ribbon to the side and three coordinating vintage buttons on the bottom.
Here is a closer look at the focal point, I punched it out with a scalloped circle punch from Marvy and added a regular circle cut with my Nestabilities from a piece of vellum.
Supplies -
Stamps - On My Couch, On My Couch Additions
Ink - Lemon Tart, Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy
Cardstock - Dark Chocolate, SS White, Vellum, Bitty Dot Basics Patterned Paper, Bitty Box Basics Patterned Paper
Other - 1 3/8" Square Punch (EK Success), Scallop Circle Punch (Marvy), Pure Poppy Stitched Ribbon, Aqua Mist, Dark Chocolate, Lemon Tart Vintage Buttons, Sewing Machine, Cirlce Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Slot Punch (SU!)
Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous weekend!

Oh Goodness, what an ADORABLE cutie-pie with his "cheezy-face"! Whose heart wouldn't melt? :)

Absolutely precious card. Great job with the quilt affect.
Precious little boy. It is so fun when they start walking but also bittersweet. Nice to have one day free for the boys. I am glad you get it. My days with my boys mean the world to me(most of the time). Being a stay at home mom is wonderful but definitely has it's challenges.

Your card (and in particular, the stitching) is lovely, BUT... I really am commenting about that adorable little baby!!! Oh my goodness, he'd never learn to walk at my house - I'd be hugging and squeezing him non-stop!!! Thanks for sharing and making my afternoon a whole lot brighter!
