Good Monday Morning All! Only one more day until the Papertrey release, so excited to share a few of my Christmas-y projects with you tomorrow. But for today I have something cheery, pretty and pink! It is raining here today - the first rain of the season-and I love the change of pace. Cooler days and chilly nights, love wearing warmer clothes and needing an extra blanket (or two ;)) at night. Anyhow, this card combines some of my favorite sets, In Bloom, Background Basics: Retro, and Handwritten Notes with some of my favorite colors, Sweet Blush, Raspberry Fizz, Ripe Avocado and Vintage Cream. This is actually the very first time I cut out and layered the flowers from In Bloom, I really like how it turned out and it was actually pretty simple.
I actually used Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz to stamp the flowers in the corner, even though you can't tell that well. I used Vintage Cream to stamp the flowers and leaves before trimming and then had to add those pretty little pearls to the center. And well, I am not the best seamstress, but I managed to sew around the circle okay...this time, it is really hit or miss with my sewing!
