It's time for our final group post for this month's MTME release! This month had lots of pretty things, including this lovely teacup (from the A Spot of Tea set) which I couldn't resist using again! I made a simple pretty card with a few little details. I actually used the teacup image to create a background on my pink layer, I would like to try it again on maybe a square card cause I really did like the results. The teacup focal point image was paper pieced with some of the new Vintage Dots digital paper. My favorite part of the card?? The ruffle ribbon along the bottom, love how that turned out!
Supplies: Stamps - A Spot of Tea (MTME); Ink - Dark Brown Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap), Spun Sugar Distress (Ranger); Cardstock - Pink, Oat, One Sheet Wonder (Couture Cardstock); Other - Vintage Dots Digi Paper, Ruffle Edge Ribbon
This simple card features another new set, Killer Curves, which I hand cut and distressed (I do not own a digital cutting machine). The sentiment is from So Sentimental and the flourish is from Fanciful Flourishes. I actually stamped a portion of one of the Killer Curves frames along the dark brown strip to create that pattern...pretty cool huh?
Supplies: Stamps - Killer Curves, Fanciful Flourishes, So Sentimental (MTME); Ink - Dark Brown Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap), Hawaiian Shores, Fresh Snow (PTI); Cardstock - Pink, One Sheet Wonder (Couture Cardstock), Aqua Mist, Dark Chocolate, Kraft (PTI); Other - Prima Flower, Vintage Button (PTI)

Beautiful, Geny! That ruffled ribbon is fantastic! The use of the flourish stamp on your second card is awesome! Love the look of that!

I love these, Geny.
The ruffled ribbon really adds that special "something" to the teacup.
I also like the texture of the pink paper.
I agree with Dawn about the flourish on the second card.
Your little Mikey is a real cutie! What a sweet face! Your birthday tribute to him was straight from a mommy's heart, I know. I loved the "Jakey baby" and "I need Mommy" comments. They just grow up way too fast.

Love your Best Wishes card because I like to see great creations that don't need a cutting machine. Thank you for showing us!!
