Simple Hearts

Good Tuesday Morning!  I hope all of you enjoyed a nice long weekend, we all got yesterday off so it was nice to be together.  Didn't really do much of anything, enjoyed one day of kinda lounging around as a family.

I made this card the other night with Heart Prints - oh how I love this set!  I chose to use only the solid hearts for this card and use a variation of the color combo I featured the other day.  Instead of Pure Poppy, I used Raspberry Fizz.  I think it is another wonderful mix, I will use it over and over!!  I created a long card to fit in a business size envelope, purely because I wanted to fit multiple hearts on the front and I wanted to use the larger size as well as the smaller size.  I stamped a little background with the xoxoxo... from Love Songs on Dark Chocolate in Vintage Cream ink.   I also stamped the Vintage Cream twill with small hearts but it got covered up by all the hearts when the card came together.  Oh well, I will do that again and make it visible next time!!

 

I decided to sponge some Spring Moss around the whole card at the last minute, it made things a little more muted.  The background piece is also sponged with Vintage Cream to soften it up.

This is a great card. I tend to do the usual A2 size cards just because I get in a rut and forget I can do other sizes as well. Great job!!! I just picked up some vintage cream and raspberry fizz ink so it will be fun to play with them. TFS!!!
