Happy Monday! First of all, I must thank all of you that left such nice messages welcoming me to Lauren's fabulous team. It is such a treat to read through all of the congratulations and well wishes, you guys are all so sweet. Don't forget if you missed that post to scroll down and leave a comment before tonight for a chance to win a free template from the My Time Made Easy store.
Today I am sharing two get well cards with the same design but different colors. The main image is from Papertrey's Baby Button Bits set, I love that flower design, it is perfect for many occasions, not just baby. The sentiment on both cards is from Communique Sentiments, I love the font. On the above blue toned card, I used Polka Dot Basics to create that fun multi-colored dot background, used PTI Aqua Mist ink and Versacolor Turquoise. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
Supplies: Stamps - Polka Dot Basics, Communique Sentiments, Baby Button Bits (PTI); Ink - Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist (PTI), Dark Brown Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap), Turquoise Versacolor (Tsuikenko); Cardstock - Kraft, Rustic White, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss (PTI); Other - Aqua Mist Vintage Buttons (PTI), Embossing Folder (Provo Craft)
Here is the other card, in more girly colors but with the same design. I used PTI's Faux Ribbon for the background, stamped in Raspberry Fizz ink on Sweet Blush cardstock, I like the contrast that this combination provides. I also sponged all the edges which if you didn't know is my very favorite added touch, if something seems missing on an image or design I usually add some sponging and then I love it!
Supplies: Stamps - Baby Button Bits, Communique Sentiments, Faux Ribbon (PTI); Ink - Raspberry Fizz, Dark Chocolate (PTI), Dark Brown Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap); Cardstock - Kraft, Rustic white, Spring Moss, Sweet Blush; Other - Raspberry Fizz Vintage Buttons (PTI), Embossing Folder (Quickutz)
Thanks so much for visiting me today! I will be back to announce the MTME winner tomorrow and a fun new project on Wednesday! Have a wonderful day!
