Happy Friday all! I have some fabulous news to share today, you might already know that Kimberly Crawford (one of my stamping idols:)) has started her own stamp line called Mint Motif. Isn't that a delicious name?! I just love it. The stamp line will be sold exclusively through i {heart} papers and her first two sets will be released on May 14th - just one week away, woohoo! The two sets being released that day are Very Square and Very Square Sentiments. They are very high quality acrylic stamps and these images are full of possibilities, lots of options for die cutting, creating backgrounds, building focal points, combining with other stamps, and more. I will share two cards today - the same card with the color combo reversed (it will make sense when you see it)!
I punched out my squares for this card with a 1 3/8" punch and then rounded two corners on each before arranging them for my focal point. I like the color pop of the lime, turquoise and black and the CAS style (my favorite) of this card. The Retro Diamonds embossing folder is from Quickutz and I thought is worked perfectly with this pattern.
Here is a closer look at that patterns which is probably my favorite in the set, it is so intricate and detailed and full of possibilities.
The sentiment set is full of useful sentiments that are stacked, which is great...so many of my sentiment sets are all in a line and I have to carefully ink them to get them stacked, this set is a great new option.
Here is the other card with the focal point and button colors reversed - the same but different:)!
Lucky for you, the whole design team is sharing projects today and boy are there some talented ladies on the team. I am so excited to work with them and with Kim and Kate (owner of i{heart} papers) - thank you so much Kim for this opportunity!!
And just because Kim is so super nice, she is giving away both of her sets to one lucky commenter from the DT blogs, that means if you comment here and at all the other girls blogs you increase your chances of winning! Thank you for your visit today and have a great weekend!
What a beautiful card!! That pattern is gorgeous and I love the idea of the stacked sentiments!

Mmm. Pretty color combination. The patterns really look like patterned paper as opposed to stamped paper. Love it.

Very pretty card! I love those colors and using the buttons on there adds just the right touch. Those stamps are wonderful - you can never have too many backgrounds or sentiments.

That is a very nice color combination! I love the pop of the black with it (I'm usually a white-cardstock girl, so it's neat to see how to use other colors). Great job!
