Get Well Cards

Good Morning!  Thank you for all the nice comments about my MTME release projects over the past few days!  I had lots of fun creating with the new sets and will definitely have more to share!  Today I thought I would share two Get Well cards that are basically the same except with different embellishments.  One with pretty, fluffy flowers and the other with basic rhinestones.  I like both equally! 

I started out with that strip of Rustic White cardstock and started experimenting with a few images from the SEI Juliette set, I just love the bees!  Instead of the traditional black for the bees I used rich Dark Brown fluid chalk ink, love how it turned out.  I just sort of evolved my layout from that strip, adding a scalloped border, then the cool Dotti Biscotti paper, the sentiment circle and flowers.

And here is the card with rhinestones, simpler for sure...I love the sparkle and pop that the rhinestones add though.  The big flourish is from PTI's Fancy Flourishes, I sort of just built it the way I wanted it...a super fun thing to do with that set! 

So there you go, two cards for today...I hope you are having a great week so far.  It is such a fast week for us cause of the Monday holiday.  We had a nice weekend, went to my sisters graduation, some friends house, relaxed and spent time together.  It was good to take a little break from the craziness of the end of the school year too.  Now we are home enjoying the start of summer!!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Ooh, I love thess cards, Geny. The layered flower is so pretty and flowers are so the thing right now. The flourish is just the thing to set the whole card off. They are kinda like "his" and "her" get well cards.

I really think that THIS particular Dotti Biscotti sheet is my favorite. I love the kraft with the yellow..so soothing. This is a really great card. I am going to CASE the heck out of this one..lol.. I love it! And that Flourish is darling!

These are really nice!!!! Love the Dotti Biscotti paper (got to get me some of that next time I order) and I love the flowers and buttons of the first one as well.
