Happy Friday! I just love Friday's and it seems like this one has been a long time coming! I feel like I have been a little extra busy this week for some reason but now the weekend is here and a little fun and relaxation are on the agenda. Today I have a pretty card I made and submitted to a couple calls but it never got picked up so now is the perfect time to share right?! I used Waltzingmouse Stamps Roses in Bloom stamps to create my masked flowers, aren't they pretty!? Those stamps are wonderful and stamp so well, I can't wait to be able to afford more...maybe I will ask for some for my upcoming birthday! After stamping the roses and leaves, I sponged ink directly on them to create a soft pretty look. I added the label (Fillable Frames #4 from PTI) and sentiment (which I masked to make multiple lines)...but my favorite part? - the layered button/pearl combination, I love how adding the pearl softened up the look of the button and just brought the whole thing together.
Supplies: Stamps - Roses In Bloom (WMS); Ink - Celery (Fresh Ink), Dark Brown Fluid Chalk (Clearsnap), Pink Grapefruit Versamagic (Tsukineko); Cardstock - Vintage Cream, Melon Berry, Simply Chartruese (PTI); Other - Corner Rounder (EK Success), Fillable Frames #4 Die (PTI), Melon Berry Vintage Button (PTI), Adhesive Pearls (Michaels)
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am off to photograph some projects while the babies are sleeping!
Geny, this is lovely! Love the way you colored the flower with the inking and what a fun layout! :)

This is beautiful! The sponging is so soft and delicate, and the pearls are the perfect touch! And the inside looks just as pretty as the outside.

LOVE this card Geny - it looks like chalk-popping (at least, I think I could do it with chalk). I love the design and the colors are so pretty!!! I have that stamp set {{heart}} so I truly appreciate the new idea!
Hugs!
