Happy Monday! How was the weekend? Ours was good and well...annoying too cause it snowed here most of the day Sunday! Ugh, I am over it for sure! So I thought I would share a card I made for Stampendous that they shared on their blog last week. I had fun coloring these pretty poppies using Prisma pencils and gamsol. I added some sparkly black stickles to the centers and paired them with some pretty background paper. My favorite little addition is the scalloped strip I added along the edge, just added a little something to the card!
Supplies: Stamps - Cling Poppy Stems, Happy Messages (Stampendous); Ink - Black (Memories), Antique Linen (Ranger); Cardstock - Rustic White, New Leaf (PTI); Patterned Paper - Stella & rose Gertie (My Mind's Eye); Other - Black Stickles (Ranger), Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Tiny Buttons, Corner Rounder (EK Success)
Thanks for stopping by today! Remember there are still some stuff left from my little supply sale, visit this post if you're interested. Have a great week!
Very pretty! Love all the red and yes the little strip of green scallops really make this stand out. Seems winter does not want to go away here either. We had 4 inches of snow Saturday. It's gone now but I wish it would just warm up and stay warm! Have a good week.

This is a great card. I love the finish of the scallops and how pencils and gamsol bleed just a little.
Sorry about the snow, Sunday was our good day, but we have been told many times that we are not out of the clear (for snow) until we hit July :(

i really like this card- especially the way the scallops kind of poke out from behind that top layer
