Spring Love

 
Spring is gracing us with it's presence this week, we are enjoying some much needed sunshine.  The birds are chirping and most importantly the snow is melting!!!  So happy about that!  I am sharing a little My Cute Stamps card today, made with the Ashley's Blossoms set.  I started with the label diecut and stamped the smaller leaf image around it randomly, then inked the edges with a little distress ink.  I then stamped and embossed the birdcage before trimming it out and adhering it, adding a little brad to "hang" it from.  Then I added the pretty strip along the bottom and a cozy red felt heart!  I also added a bit of texture to the card base with the Linen/Canvas impression plate from PTI.  Love what that adds to a simple card!

Hoping you all had a wonderful weekend, we did...lots of friends and fun!  I am checking in to share another card with a birdcage on it...I know I know, enough already.  They are just so cute though, right??!  Anyhow, today's card features stamps from My Cute Stamps...Elegant Birds.  It contains the prettiest fancy little birdcages and sweet little birdies.  I had the layout all figured out and I decided I needed to add a frame and wouldn't you know that the little "chain" type image worked perfectly...I love those happy accidents!  That super fun background paper is from the Fine and Dandy True Blue collection which I got at i {heart} papers...and they have so many fabulous papers right now, I want them all!!!

Pretty Branch

Sharing a quick card tonight using My Cute Stamps Ashley's Blossoms, pretty paper blooms, and little pearls.  I love this color combo and the branch image is just beautiful!  I stamped it using Peeled Paint Distress ink and the sentiment is in Orange Marmalade Distress ink.  I also added that cute butterfly from the set in the upper corner with more pearl accents.

Pretty Little Bird

 
Hi there!  Hope you had a great weekend, ours way quiet and a bit cold (but at least the sun was out).  I have a stampy little card to share today using Ashley's Blossoms from My Cute Stamps.  It is such a pretty set, I love the branch image and that birdcage is perfect!  I had fun making this card, just stamping that pretty branch and layering the birdcage and little birdie on it, then antiquing the edges.

Matryoshka Dolls

 
Hello there...hope you all had a great weekend!  I had all kinds of plans for this long weekend but we ended up doing pretty much NOTHING cause my poor little one is super sick.  As of tonight he is still not feeling better so tomorrow we will be visiting the doctor.  I feel so bad for him but there isn't a whole lot I can do...I just have these viruses, I am ready for our family to be done with them. 

Anyhow, I have a little card to share today using My Cute Stamps very very fun set Matryoshka Dolls.  I stamped the dolls three times in different colors, trimmed them out and adhered them on my embossed kraft piece.  I added some twine and a tiny little sentiment strip at the top, I am in love with twine right now!!!  I wish I had room for some big rolls, they are just so pretty!

Folk Art Heart

 
I love the Matryoshka Dolls set from My Cute Stamps, especially this floral stamp.  I stamped two of them across from each other in Fresh Snow ink on Kraft cardstock (it is funny how hard it is to see in my photos but it looks great irl) and added a heart to the center.  I just love how it turned out and can totally see doing this in other colors....might even try it later.  Or maybe add a flower to the center, perhaps in felt, oh that would be great huh?

Celebrate Butterfly

 
I love this butterfly stamp that is included in the My Cute Stamps set, Celebrate Chandelier.  It is so cute and whimsical.  I decided to make a little random background with it...simple simple using a favorite, cheerful color combo.  I then added a simple little label shape, cut with Spellbinders Labels 17 which is my new favorite.  I also added a strip of white that had been die cut with the eyelet lace die from PTI and of course some coordinating bakers twine.  Love the result!

Pretty Chandelier

 
Hi there!  I hope you all had a great weekend...had a nice long one here and it was good.  The weather was great, uncharacteristically warm and perfect for a little bit of outdoor activity.  I thought I would share this cute simple card I made for the last Paper Crafts call but didn't get picked up.  I love the colors and that chandelier is just gorgeous!  Those fun stamps come from the My Cute Stamps set Celebrate Chandelier which I just love!  After stamping it in Fuschia Fresh Ink from Impress, I added some pretty rhinestones to accent it.

Hello there, hope it is a wonderful Wednesday wherever you are!  We are enjoying a little sunshine (hooray!) today!  So I thought I would share this cute little card (4x4) using My Cute Stamps set Gumballs, such a sweet little stamp set!  I simply stamped the gumball machine image on a scalloped square die cut and colored it with my colored pencils (blended with gamsol).  Then I added the sentiment as a sort of frame and those cute "special" gumball rhinestones!  Easy peesy!  I think I might save this little cutie for my sweet niece for Valentine's Day!

 
Hopefully you're week is going well.  Jacob is still struggling to get up in the morning for school, perhaps by next week he will be more used to it.  Tonight I am trying out this recipe from the Pioneer Woman, it looks yummy and pretty easy!

A little thank you card to send out after the holidays...do you do that?  I try to send them to far away relatives who take the time to send a gift our way.  It is always nice to receive a thank you card right?!  This one uses my current favorite "winter" set from My Cute Stamps, Let it Snow and the sentiment from the Matryoshka Dolls set.  I promise to move on to other sets soon...in fact I have some cute Valentines planned soon!  Anyhow...stamps the snowflakes and flourish on a Labels Seventeen die (LOVE this shape) and added a cute taupe pearl (from Zva Creative) to the center of the big snowflake.
